Pocoyo Playset - Community Helpers app for iPhone and iPad

Pocoyo Playset Community Helpers is a fun and engaging educational application which helps kids to learn about community helpers through playing with the variety of games and activities included.

As children interactively explore the places and activities in a community, they meet community helpers, see the many ways they help people, identify the uniforms they wear, the vehicles they drive, and the tools they use. The children then apply what they have learned through single player and multiplayer games that challenge them to match helpers with their workspaces, uniforms and tools, and by classifying these in multiple ways.

With the support of this unit children will:

• Identify and match select community helpers with their vehicles, workspaces, uniforms, and/or tools.
•Explore and classify thematic objects (vehicles, uniforms, tools, etc.) in multiple ways.
• Learn and use thematic vocabulary related to community helpers, the vehicles they use, their tools and their uniforms.
• Build fluency in oral English
